Ten years have passed since the "City Planning Master Plan (Whole City Plan)" which is the policy of city planning determined by Yokohama City formulated in 1999. During this time, due to changes in the environment surrounding Yokohama City, such as the revision of related plans and social conditions, it has become necessary to revise the “City Planning Master Plan”, and this time the “Yokohama City Planning Master Plan Revision Review Committee” was launched. We will proceed with the examination.
Overview of the Review Committee

In formulating the basic policy for the revision of the city planning master plan, a committee will be set up to listen to opinions from academics and others widely.

Examine the basic philosophy and goals of urban development in the 2010 city plan, the role and composition required of the new city planning master plan, etc.
Decision of proposal in 2011, publication of opinion offer conduct result, conduct of policy examination according to whole city plan section, ward plan examination, etc.
Revision through procedures such as drafting of the whole city plan in 2012, council for city planning and public comments
