Yokohama, People, Town and Design Award

The aim is to further promote attractive town development by commends activities that have made particularly significant contributions to community development in Yokohama, as well as the creation of urban landscapes and buildings that make up Nami, a town that contributed to the conservation.
There are two sections, the "Local Community Development Section" and the "Machinami Landscape Section", which are implemented every other year.

This is the 11th Yokohama, People, Town and Design Award.
We raise attractive "local town development activity" and "machinami scenery" which becomes individuality of town and are.
Awards for 7 local town development sections and 4 town landscape sections were decided.

Citizens take the initiative in their own initiative, ingenuity, and promote local community development, commend groups that are the main actors of the activity and individuals and groups that support their efforts.

Approach to realize safe, comfortable and attractive town that citizen plays a leading role is local town development.

• Being a local community development in Yokohama City
• Have a track record of approximately 3 years or more
• In the pastYokohama Town Achievement Award"or"Yokohama, person, town, design prize town development activity section or local town development sectionThose awarded in "" are not eligible.

• Activities that lead to improvement of local attractiveness and resolution of issues
• Activities that are undertaken independently with enthusiasm
• Activities in which diverse people participate and participate

The townscape section commends businesses, designers, installers, etc. who have contributed to the creation of landscapes that are full of individuality and charm and have attachment from the community.

It refers to buildings and structures that feel history, buildings and plazas that create new bustle, conservation and utilization of the natural environment, places that are familiar and attached to each other, and Nami, a town that combines them.

It is as follows that contribute to the formation of attractive cityscapes that make use of the individuality of the region.

• Reclaimed historical buildings, etc.
