On February 21, 2023, at Yokohama Municipal Kamiseya Elementary School, we held a grafting event with elementary school studenｔ, a fifth-year student, to connect the cherry blossoms on the Navy Road to the next generation.

The cherry blossoms on the Seya Ward Navy Road (Circular Route 4) are becoming older year by year, with an average of about 20 cherry trees must be removed every year in the last 10 years.
For this reason, from the idea of connecting harmony with nature to the next generation triggered by the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition and the new town development of the former Kami-Seya Communication Facility District. I think it is necessary to regenerate.
