On February 21, 2023, at Yokohama Municipal Kamiseya Elementary School, we held a grafting event with elementary school student, a fifth-year student, to connect the cherry blossoms on the Navy Road to the next generation.

The cherry blossoms on the Seya Ward Navy Road (Circular Route 4) are becoming older year by year, with an average of about 20 cherry trees must be removed every year in the last 10 years.

About round-table conference
 All applicants are welcome to participate. (There will be no open lottery.)
 For round-table conferences scheduled to be held from July, the summary of the meeting will be posted on the website as needed.

We are looking for participants to participate in the conference. ※The application has been closed.
 The row of cherry blossom trees on the Navy Road have been planted for more than 40 years since tree planting, and are aging. Therefore, we will consider the future of a row of cherry blossom trees, taking advantage of the town development of the former Kami-Seya communication facility and the holding of the International Horticulture Expo. Along with this, we will set up a round-table conference on the row of cherry trees on the Navy Road, so please join us and let us know your opinions.
●Four people who meet all of the following conditions:
①Lives in Seya Ward
②20 years old or older (as of April 1, 2021)
③In principle, those who can attend all round-table round-table conferences (The round-table conference is held on weekday evenings in Reiwa 3rd and 4th year. In FY2021, it will be held four to five times a year from July onward.)
