Public opinion offer based on Yokohama-shi public works evaluation system

At the 1st Yokohama City Public Works Evaluation Committee in FY2022, we conducted a preliminary evaluation of the land readjustment project in the former Kamiseya Communication Facility District Land Readjustment Project.
At the same time, from August 1 to 31, 2022, we solicited public opinions on the preliminary evaluation record (draft).

◆Purpose of Yokohama City Public Works Evaluation
The public works evaluation is based on the efficiency of public works by objectively evaluating and publishing the necessity and effects of the project at each stage from before the start of the project to the completion of the project with regard to public works carried out by Yokohama City. And to improve the transparency of the implementation process.

◆Flow of pre-evaluation
(1)City makes prior evaluation record (plan) from viewpoints such as necessity, effect of business and consideration for environment.
(2)We announce pre-evaluation record (plan) which we made on homepages and raise opinions from citizen's everybody.
At the same time, we ask for opinions from the Yokohama City Public Works Evaluation Committee, which is made up of academics.
(3)City summarizes opinion for opinion from citizens and correspondence to opinion proposal issued by committee and fixes prior evaluation record and announces as result of prior evaluation.
