　Yokohama City has been pioneering "urban design" by utilizing local resources such as ports, history and culture, and water and greenery, ahead of the rest of the country. In addition, we are making use of the "Landscape Law" and "Landscape Ordinance" to promote initiatives to create landscapes that enhance the appeal of Yokohama. In "Yokohama City Urban Beauty Measures Council", when discussing important matters such as beauty and landscape creation of towns, we have interest in landscape town development through town development activities, etc., and want to improve Yokohama as a representative of citizens. We openly recruit citizen committee members to reflect opinion of one having thought.

1 Application conditions
　Those who meet all of the following conditions. (excluding Yokohama City employees)
(1) Those who live, work or attend school in Yokohama City
(2) Those who are 20 years old or older as of August 1, 2023
(３) Those who are involved in town development and landscape creation in Yokohama City, or those who are willing to engage in the future

2 Number of applicants
　2 people

3 Term of office
　2 years from the date of commissioning (scheduled for August 2023)

4 How to apply
　Please fill out the application form with required items and composition (about 800 characters: theme "What you want to cherish in order to create a rich landscape unique to Yokohama") and submit it by mail or e-mail to the address below. ※It is not possible to apply by fax.

5 Recruitment period
Reiwa March 7 (Tue)-April 7 (Fri) (must arrive)

6 Selection
　The selection committee consisting of Motoichi staff will make a selection. Document screening (primary selection) based on "composition" and "self-PR, etc." described at the time of application, and for those who passed the selection will be conducted on May 17, 2023 (Wednesday) afternoon (planned) Interview.
　The results of the primary screening will be notified by mail or e-mail to all applicants. (Mid-May)

7 Points of Selection

• Enthusiasm for the landscape, achievements, interest, and attitudes of community development activities
• Experience in cooperation and coordination with local organizations and public/related organizations
• A logical and positive attitude, expressiveness to the other party, etc.

8 Status of Held so far
　You can see past meetings and past holding status and deliberations of each subcommittee on this page.

9 Others
　The council is scheduled to be held twice a year (irregular). In addition, since each subcommittee is held multiple times, a total of four to seven times a year in total. If you attend the council (including the subcommittee), you will pay the amount of remuneration set by Yokohama City.
