　Yokohama City, ahead of the rest of the country, has been working on “urban design” by utilizing local resources such as ports, history and culture, and greenery. In addition, we are making use of the "Landscape Law" and the "Landscape Ordinance" to promote initiatives to create landscapes that enhance the appeal of Yokohama. In "Yokohama-shi city beauty measures council", we have interest in scenery town development through town development activities and want to improve Yokohama as citizen's representative in discussing important matters such as aesthetics and landscape creation of town We raise citizen committee to reflect opinion of one having thought.

1 Application conditions
　Those who meet all of the following conditions. (Excluding Yokohama City staff)
(1) Those who live, work or attend school in Yokohama City
(2) Those who are over 20 years old as of August 1, 2023
(３) Those who are involved in community development and landscape creation in Yokohama City, or those who are willing to be involved in the future

4 How to apply
　Please fill out the application form with required items and essay (about 800 characters: the theme "What you want to cherish to create a rich landscape like Yokohama") and submit it by mail or e-mail to the address below. ※You cannot apply by fax.

5 Application Period
March 7 (Tuesday)-April 7 (Friday) (must arrive)

6 Selection
　Selection committee composed of Motoichi staff selects. We will select documents (primary selection) based on "Composition" and "Self-PR, etc." described at the time of application, and interview those who passed the selection on May 17, 2023 (Wednesday) afternoon (planned). I will do it.
　In addition, the results of the primary selection will be notified by mail or e-mail to all applicants. (Mid-May)

7 Points of Selection

• Enthusiasm for the landscape, achievements, interests, attitudes of town development activities
• Experience in cooperation and coordination with local organizations and public/related organizations
• Logical and positive attitude, expressiveness to convey to the other party easily, etc.

8 Status to date
　Past status and deliberations of past councils and subcommittees can be found on this page.

9 Others
　The council is scheduled to be held twice a year (irregular). In addition, since each subcommittee is held multiple times, a total of about 4 to 7 times a year is held. If you attend the council (including subcommittees), you will pay the amount set by Yokohama City.
