What is Kitahasaku Megumi no Sato?
The Kitahatsusaku district is located about 500m from Kawawacho Station on the Municipal Subway Green Line and about 1km from the Tomei Expressway Yokohama Aoba Interchange, but has a beautiful green landscape.
About 40ha of farmland spread along the coast of the Onda River is designated as a special area for Kitahasaku agriculture, and various agriculture such as rice cultivation and fruit trees are operated. In particular, Hamanashi, a specialty product that represents the district, is so popular that a line can be formed in front of the communal direct sales shop.
As the farming environment in the district changes drastically due to the maintenance of the Yokohama Ring Northwest Line, while exchanging opinions with local people who want to revitalize agriculture, initiatives such as hands-on paddy fields and direct sales events have been promoted since April 2018. I have been.
In April 2020, following the designation as a village of Megumi, the Kitahasaku Egumi no Sato Liaison Committee has started full-scale activities to revitalize agriculture. .

In principle, the event is held on the second Sunday of every month.
In addition to selling local fresh vegetables, we also sell “yakiniku no sauce” using “Hamanashi” harvested in the Kitahasaku area, and boasting rice made using groundwater. I am.
