　 Nogeyama Zoo has the longest history in Yokohama City Zoo, has been popular with many citizens of many generations. On the other hand, more than 70 years have passed since the opening of the park, there are various issues to be improved, such as aging facilities, barrier-free facilities, and animal breeding rings.
　Yokohama City has formulated the Nogeyama Zoo Renewal Plan (draft) with the aim of creating a zoo where citizens and animals can spend more comfortably while cherishing the nostalgic atmosphere of Nogeyama Zoo.　
　Therefore, we raise opinions of citizen's all of you.

<Supplement>
Nogeyama Zoo is open as usual except for regular holidays.
In addition, contact corner (Nakayoshi open space) is closed for the time being from March 13, 2024 for construction. Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of March 2025, and operation is scheduled to resume around the spring of 2025. Details such as the timing of resumption will be announced on the Nogeyama Zoo official website (external site).

※Leaflets with postcards are available at the Citizen Information Center on the 3rd floor of Yokohama City Hall, 18 Ward Office Ward Administration Promotion Division Public Relations Section, Yokohama City Zoo (Yokohama Zoo ZOORASIA, Nogeyama Zoo and Kanazawa Zoo).
