Renewal of Nogeyama Zoo
Last Updated June 17, 2024
Overview
Nogeyama Zoo has the longest history in Yokohama City Zoo, has been popular with many citizens of many generations.
On the other hand, more than 70 years have passed since the park opened, and there are various issues to be improved, such as aging facilities, barrier-free facilities, and animal breeding environments.
In Yokohama, we have formulated the Nogeyama Zoo Renewal Plan with the aim of creating a zoo where citizens and animals can spend more comfortably while cherishing the nostalgic atmosphere of Nogeyama Zoo.
In the future, Nogeyama Zoo will be renewed based on this plan.
