Q

I'd like you to cut the branches of the trees in the park.

Last Updated April 3, 2019

A

Trees in the park are pruned about once every multiple years, depending on the type of tree, for the purpose of healthy growth of trees.
In addition, if the branches cross the border of an adjacent private house, or if the branches and leaves are too thick and the visibility in the park is poor, the branches are cut preferentially. If you can contact each park green space office that manages the park and the Public Works Office of each ward, we will check the situation and take measures such as cutting branches if necessary. However, there are many pros and cons of cutting tree branches among local residents, so it is necessary to adjust the degree of cutting.
