Q

I'd like you to cut a tree branch in the park.

Last update date April 3, 2019

A

Park trees are pruned about once every several years, depending on the type of tree, for the purpose of promoting healthy growth of trees.
In addition, when branches cross the border of the adjacent private house, or when the branches and leaves are too thick and the visibility in the park is poor, the branches are cut with priority. If you contact each park green space office that manages the park and the Public Works Office of each ward, we will check the situation and take measures such as cutting branches as necessary. However, local residents often have pros and cons of cutting tree branches, so adjustments are required to be made to the extent of cutting.
