Tsuzuki Ward   Toda and Ikebe district (volunteer bus) “Toda / Ikebe district volunteer bus”

In May 2017, the Miyakoda-Ikebe District Volunteer Bus Council, which is organized by local residents in the Tsuzuki Ward   Tsuda and Ikebe districts, has been conducting demonstrations of volunteer buses with Yokohama City since May 2017 as part of efforts to secure transportation by the local community support. In this initiative, local volunteers operate wagon-type vehicles to support the movement of daily life, such as shopping, going to hospitals, and participating in local activities, by operating a wagon-type vehicles. Based on the results of the demonstration operation, a system for voluntary operation by the community was established, so the organization was changed to "Bora Bus and Community Welfare Association" on December 2, 2019, and full-scale operation started doing.
