Outline of Initiatives

Process

With the aging of the population, the Road and Highway Bureau considers the use of shuttle buses operated by private entities as local means of transportation, and in 2015, the Yokohama Municipal Hospital Association conducted a questionnaire survey on shuttle buses at 134 hospitals in the city through the association of hospitals.
In response to the questionnaire, we responded to the questionnaire regarding the operation status of the shuttle bus, the possibility of future operation, and opinions on the use of the shuttle bus for local transportation. As a result, we were able to cooperate with Yokohama General Hospital and conducted a demonstration operation.
