Sewerage Business Medium-Term Management Plan 2018

In Yokohama-shi sewer business, we devise "sewerage business medium-term management plan" with basic idea of business administration and approach and target of measure development and financial management based on it and are promoting business.

• Plan period: FY2018 to FY2021

• Purpose of plan: Medium-term plan that sets out the concept of business management of Yokohama sewer and policy development based on it, and financial management goals and initiatives based on it.

• Preventing Accidents and Troubles Preventing Accidents and Troubles In addition to strengthening conservation-type maintenance and strengthening of functions (P.16)

• To minimize the impact on citizens' lives in the event of an earthquake, we are promoting earthquake countermeasures in terms of both earthquake resistance and ensuring toilet functions (P.20).

• In addition to the steady development of rainwater trunk lines, etc., we are implementing countermeasures against inundation with a view to climate change, such as strengthening support for citizens to self support and community support by enhancing information provision (P.24).

• Promote the utilization of green infrastructure such as parks, forest land, and agricultural land, to strengthen measures against inundation and restore good water circulation (P.30)

• Promoting the creation and utilization of new energy such as hydrogen and the effective use of resources and assets such as sewage treatment water (P.36)
