1 Basic matters
The Toa Oil Energy Supply Facility (hereinafter referred to as the “Project”) is located in the coastal area of Kawasaki, and in areas where air pollutants are affected by this project, environmental standards related to air pollution such as nitrogen dioxide and suspended particulate matter have not been achieved over a wide range, and efforts have been made to improve the air environment because there is a burden on the generation of air pollutants from existing refineries in the Toa Oil Kawasaki Refinery facilities.
2. Individual matters
(1) Air pollution
(A) In order to reduce the burden on the atmospheric environment of this project, it is necessary to adopt high-performance catalysts in denitrification equipment, etc., and to properly manage the operation and combustion management of facilities.
B. In this project, by-product gas and decompression residue oil are used as fuel, so it is necessary to grasp trace substances in exhaust gas. Therefore, the impact on the environment should be examined by analyzing exhaust gas immediately after operation. In addition, take appropriate measures as necessary.
C) In implementing this project, it is important to formulate a plan with low environmental impact in order to reduce the emission of air pollutants at the time of renovation of existing refineries.
