Level crossing safety measures implementation plan

Last Updated April 6, 2023

Development of "Railroad Crossing Safety Measures Implementation Plan"

In Yokohama-shi, we devised "railroad crossing maintenance plan" to push forward future railroad crossing security measures systematically for 167 railroad crossings in the city and announced in April, 2015.
This time, we have compiled the details of measures for 10 railroad crossings and 5 consecutive grade separation candidates extracted in the "* Railroad Crossing Maintenance Plan". We have decided to work on pedestrian measures from a medium- to long-term perspective on automobile measures with a target of approximately five years.
In addition, as for the candidate for continuous grade separation, the area around Tsurugamine Station on the Sotetsu Main Line was considered as the section where priority is being considered for commercialization.
