Road Contact Month

Every year from August 1st to 31st is "Road Contact Month".
During this month, the purpose is to encourage people who use the road to interact with the road again, reaffirm the role of the road, and to increase the willingness to use the road beautifully and safely.
In addition, on August 10, 1920, in commemoration of the implementation of the "First Road Improvement Plan", Japan's first long-term plan for modern road maintenance, from 1986 to August 10, 1986 to August 10 It is established on "Road Day".
Roads are the most basic public facilities that are indispensable to everyday life, but their importance is often overlooked because they are too familiar.

As part of this, we are recruiting widely for the 2024 "Road Contact Month" promotion slogans from the general public for the purpose of having you recognize the role and importance of roads again.
