Last Updated January 26, 2023

Protective fences

This facility aims to prevent vehicles in the wrong direction while driving departing from the off-street, oncoming lanes, sidewalks, etc., and to prevent human damage to third parties caused by vehicles that deviated vehicles.
It also has the purpose of suppressing the fall or unnecessarily crossing of pedestrians.

Road marking

It is a facility that is organically or complementary along with road signs and traffic signals.
conservation is intended to provide the safety and smoothness of traffic by installing certain stylized lines, characters, and symbols on the road surface to provide necessary guidance, guidance, caution, regulation, instructions, etc. for road traffic.

Road reflector (curve mirror)

Curve mirrors are installed in places where there is a high risk of traffic accidents, such as curves and intersections with poor visibility, where houses and walls are in the way and cannot see approaching cars directly.
Curve mirrors are traffic safety facilities that make up for the driver's lack of visibility and support safety confirmation.

Characteristics of curved mirrors (road reflectors)

(1)There are blind spots that are not reflected in the curved mirror.
The range reflected on the curved mirror may be difficult to see or invisible parts depending on the position of the viewpoint on the viewer.

(2)It is difficult to grasp the speed and distance.
The car reflected in the curved mirror looks small and can be felt far away.
Also, because it is difficult to grasp the sense of speed, cars that were visible far away may approach in no time.

(3)The left and right are reflected in the opposite direction.
Bicycles reflected on the curved mirror actually approach the lane on the front side, but it may be misunderstood that approaching the other lane.

Use it well after understanding the characteristics of curved mirrors.
In addition, please follow the traffic rules without relying solely on curved mirrors alone, stop, slow down, and visually confirm safety.
