Isogo Library is located on the first basement floor of the Isogo Ward General Government Building.
From the first floor, you can go straight down to the entrance of the library by escalator.
Even though it is underground, you can see the planted green from the window, and bright light enters.
We look forward to seeing you.

・7 search machines for users (two for elementary school student)
・Reading seats 
 32 seats in the general book corner (8 of which are members of society)
 12 seats in the children's book corner

Characteristics of Isogo Library

There is a local writer corner.

There is a section that collects works by artists related to Isogo Ward such as Sakae Saito, Koji Nakano, and Toru Terada.
In addition, we accept copyrighted work of person resident in ward by donation.

Information first aid kit of the body and illness
There is a medical and health information corner.

I don't know the explanation of the disease. I want to know more about my body. It's a useful corner in such a case.

There is a "First Ehon" corner.

A picture book for Akachan, focusing on picture books published in "picture books to enjoy with knees", which introduces children's songs for children aged 0 to 3 years, a list of picture books, and library information useful for parents. Collected and rented in one place. It is popular with those who want to enjoy picture books with their children for the first time.

In addition, at the 4-month-old child health checkup, a librarian at the Isogo Library conducts a “Isogo Ward Story Plaza” to introduce picture books and children's songs, and distributes “picture books to enjoy with your knees”.

There is a "First Story" corner.

This is a book corner where children from grades 1 to 2 who have begun reading books on their own can enjoy reading. I mainly collect books of stories written in large letters.

There is a "story-telling information bulletin board" and a "picture book corner for story-telling"

"What kind of book should I choose?" "What should I do to make children enjoy it?" In response to such questions, we will inform you of your activities and send information from the library. Please use it.
The `` Picture Book Corner for Reading Storytelling '' is a library storytelling program, focusing on classic picture books that have entertained children, story picture books, folk tale picture books, science picture books, picture books, picture books for upper grades, etc. Collected. If you get lost, first book! Please choose from this bookcase.

We have a seat where you can use a personal computer.

There are 5 seats where you can use the personal computer you bring (power is available).
A wireless LAN of the FREESPOT council system is available (registration required).

There are computers that can use the Internet.

There are two computers that can browse the Internet for survey purposes.
(We also provide a database browsing service that can be used via the Internet.)
One car is 30 minutes per person, and you need to apply at the counter.
The other one can be used for Internet search within 10 minutes and does not need to apply.

There is a reuse library.

In cooperation with the Isogo Ward Office, we have set up a reuse library where you can bring books that are no longer needed.
If you have the book you want, you can take it home freely.

We have a teens corner.

There is a corner that collects books such as novels, hobbies, and vocational guidance mainly for teenagers.
There is a wide range of students, including junior and senior high school students.
