Isogo Library is located on the first basement floor of the Isogo Ward General Government Building.
From the first floor, take the escalator to go down to the library entrance.
Even if it is underground, you can see the greenery planted from the window and bright light comes in.
We look forward to seeing you there.

Characteristics of Isogo Library

There is a local writer's corner.

There is a corner that collects works by authors related to Isogo Ward, Sakae Saito, Koji Nakano and Toru Terada.
In addition, we accept copyrighted works of one living in ward by donation.

Body and illness information First aid kit
There is a medical and health information corner.

I don't know the explanation of the disease. I want to know more about my body. This is a useful corner for such a case.

There is a "First Ehon" corner.

Akachan Muke's picture book, focusing on picture books published in "picture books to enjoy on your knees", which contains information on children's songs for 0 to 3 years old, picture book lists, and library information useful for parents. We collect and rent in one place. It is well received by those who are trying to enjoy picture books with their children for the first time.

In addition, at the 4-month-old child's medical checkup, a librarian at the Isoko Library conducts a “Isogo Ward Story Plaza” to introduce picture books and children's songs, and distributes “picture books to enjoy on your knees”.

There is a "First Story" corner.

This is a book corner where first and second graders who have started reading books on their own can read happily. We collect mainly books of stories written in large letters.

There is a "story-telling information bulletin board" and a "picture book corner for story-telling".

"What kind of book should I choose?" "What should I do to make my children enjoy it?" In response to such questions, we will inform you of your activities and also send information from the library. Please take advantage of it.
In the "Picture Book Corner for Reading" is a library storytelling program that focuses on classic picture books that have entertained children, as well as story picture books, folk tale picture books, science picture books, picture books for higher grades, etc. Collected. If you get lost, first of all! Please choose from these bookshelf.

There are 5 seats where you can use the personal computer you bring (power is available).
FREESPOT council wireless LAN can be used (registration required).

There is a computer that can use the Internet.

There are two personal computers that allow you to browse the Internet for surveys.
(We also provide a database browsing service that can be used over the Internet.)
One car is used for 30 minutes per person, and application is required at the counter.
The other one can be used for Internet search within 10 minutes and no application is required.

There is a reuse paperback.

In collaboration with the Isogo Ward Office, we have set up a reuse library that allows you to bring in unnecessary books.
If you have a book you want, you can take it home freely.

There's a teens corner.

There is a corner that collects books such as novels, hobbies, and occupational information mainly for teenagers.
Not only junior and senior high school students, but also for a wide range of people.
