In February 1882 (1882) of Yokohama's first chronological table, "Yokohama History Magazine", "Construction of a playhouse and Yuza on Isezakicho Street, as well as other large bowyards, Kanzemonosho, Kangyosho, restaurants, etc. In 1902, the Customs Gaho, the pioneer of graph magazines, published an extra edition of the Yokohama Famous Zoukai, and the night view of Isezakicho displayed a gravia. In addition, the 1903 edition of the magazine, "Yokohama Prosperity," states, "Isezakicho must be known more than Yokohama." The bustle of Isezakicho is the first in Japan, and it is not far from here in Asakusa, Tokyo, Sennichimae in Osaka, and Kyogoku in Kyoto."

Yokohama's Memory Vol. 8 is a special feature of Isezakicho. You can see the transition of Isezakicho, which became a "traditional city" in 1882, in postcards from the late Meiji era to the early Showa era.

The white triangular roof on the right is the Kan Factory Yokohama Museum, which is a product display and spot sales area (founded in March 1900 [Reprint of Yokohama Social Dictionary], 1918), and the opposite building is also the Imperial Products Museum of Kansho (1914) burned down [Yokohama Social Dictionary]]. "Tokyo Viya Hall on the commodity hall tower is a long and prosperous prosperity" ("Yokohama Success Honorary Book").

Since Nozawaya is not yet visible in the cityscape on the left, it can be estimated that it is before 1907. Toson Shimazaki's short story "General Store" is set at a general store in Isezakicho. According to the full book chronology, Fujimura himself helped a shop in Yokohama when he was 20 years old (1891). The author of "Jinrikisha Days in Japan" published in New York in 1891, Sidmore describes the impression of American female journalist Isezakicho as follows: "Let's cross the iron bridge, Isezakicho. Playhouses, seeshows, merry-go-rounds, kiwamono amusement shops, candy shops, restaurants, used clothes markets, and antique shops, toy shops, Setomonoya, and wooden utensils shops are lined up with mazes."
Yokohama's only entertainment city in the world ("Yokohama Social Dictionary") shows the bustling town following Isezakicho, (4) shows the direction of 1-chome, and (5) shows the direction of 7-chome. (4)The Western-style four-story building in the center of the screen is Matarakukan (founded in 1912), a permanent activity photo studio with a capacity of 2,430 people ("Yokohama Social Dictionary"), and the right is "Knowing its name with deliciousness" "Nanjing Restaurant" ("Yokohama Social Dictionary") Seifutei (established in 1912). (5)The center on the right side of the right is the Kirakuza, which was rebuilt in 1915, "There is an old drama, an activity, and a new school chain drama", the opposite is the Matarakukan, and the lively seat known for the handkerchief play Asahiza (1914) The flag flutters.
