Performing "part of the affairs related to recruitment of SDF and SDF candidates" is stipulated in Article 97, Paragraph 1 of the Self-Defense Forces Act as affairs of prefectural governors and mayors of municipalities, and as statutory entrusted affairs from the government Have been implemented. In response to a request from the Minister of Defense based on Article 120 of the Enforcement Order of the Self-Defense Forces Act, we provide the SDF Kanagawa Regional Cooperation Headquarters with information necessary for recruiting SDF personnel and SDF candidates (postcode, Address and name of those who are eligible for recruitment with resident registration in Yokohama City).
For those who do not wish to provide information to the SDF (Reception of requests for exclusion from the information provided)
If you do not wish to provide information to the SDF, you will be excluded from the information provided to the SDF by requesting it.
We will inform you of the acceptance of proposals for the next fiscal year and beyond when details are determined.
Basis of Information Provision
The basis for providing information is to provide information on recruiting SDF and SDF candidates from the Minister of Defense based on the provisions of Article 97, Paragraph 1 of the Self-Defense Forces Act and Article 120 of the SDF Law Enforcement Order. Request.
Article 97, Paragraph 1 of the Self-Defense Forces Act
The prefectural governors and mayors of municipalities shall perform part of the affairs related to the recruitment of SDF and SDF candidates, as provided for by a Cabinet Order.
Article 120 of the Self-Defense Forces Law Enforcement Order
When the Minister of Defense finds it necessary to recruit SDF or SDF candidates, he / she may request the prefectural governor or the mayor of a municipality to submit necessary reports or materials.
Relationship with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Personal Information Protection Law)
Article 69, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Law stipulates that personal information must not be provided for any purpose other than the purpose of use, except as required by law, but recruitment of SDF and SDF candidates The provision of necessary recruitment information is provided in accordance with laws and regulations (Article 120 of the SDF Law Enforcement Order). The government has indicated that Article 120 of the SDF Law Enforcement Order falls under the laws and regulations of Article 69, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Law.
