Green Line goes from 4 cars to 6 cars!

The Yokohama Shiei Subway Green Line has begun operation (6 cars) using a 6-car train, which adds 2 cars to the previous 4-car train as a measure to improve convenience along the railway line and to alleviate congestion in the future. ※By the end of 2024, 6 cars will be converted for 10 out of 17 trains.
Information to Customers
Operating hours
Trains with 6 marks on the station timetable operate in a 6-car train.
Trains with 6 marks on the timetable of each station will operate in a 6-car train.
Train identification
The 6-car train has a sticker on the front and side indicating that it is a 6-car train.
Arrival of train
At the station platform, you will be notified of the arrival of a 6-car train by information display and broadcast.
Riding position
The boarding position of each organization is displayed on the platform door.
Expansion of priority spaces for wheelchairs and strollers
The priority spaces for wheelchairs and strollers, which have been installed in one place per car (four places in total of four cars), will be expanded to two locations per car. (A total of 8 locations in 6-car trains)
