Eco-friendly bus
Fuel cell (FC) buses
Since November 2019, we have been operating FC (fuel cell) buses using hydrogen as fuel, which is attracting attention as a next-generation energy source. This bus vehicle has excellent environmental performance that does not emit CO2 or environmentally hazardous substances while driving, and is also conducting educational activities such as exhibitions at events.
Hybrid bus
This is a low-emission vehicle that can be used in combination with a diesel engine, a motor and generator. The energy generated during the brake operation is converted into electrical energy and stored in the battery, and this electricity is used to activate the motor to assist the engine's driving force when starting or acceleration. It is an environmentally friendly vehicle with less nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) compared to diesel vehicles.
In recent years, unlike conventional systems that assist driving force with motors at the time of starting, the hybrid buses that have been introduced in recent years have been equipped with a new hybrid system that powers only the motor drive when starting, and CO2 emissions have been reduced more than ever.
Vehicles with idling stop and start equipment
This vehicle has a device that automatically stops the engine when waiting for a traffic light or stops at a terminal, etc., and restarts when departs. As a result, the driver can stop idling without any particular awareness. This system eliminates wasteful idling and reduces CO2 emissions, which are causing global warming.
