| Characteristics of Education | In 2017, it opened as Yokohama City's first compulsory education school with integrated small and medium facilities. With the aim of fostering "children who have the ability to play an active role in the international community", we aim for "fine learning" and "rich growth" in nine years of educational activities using the facilities. Specifically, we will strive to eliminate the middle gap by devising a teaching system that takes advantage of the continuity and specialty of teachers and smooth connections between the curriculum. In addition, we set up our own subject "International Exchange Department" to promote foreign language education to enhance a global perspective, such as "ability to understand different cultures" and "ability to communicate with different cultures", and promote international exchange, regional exchange, and SDGs In addition to practicing education, we will consider qualities and abilities according to the stage of development, and enhance language activities (the ability to communicate). |
