Disaster prevention check sheet

In order to ensure the safety of students in elementary school student, we are pleased to announce that we have created a Disaster Prevention Check Sheet, a teaching material for disaster prevention education that allows children to learn with their parents as part of disaster prevention education aimed at fostering the ability to avoid crisis.
In the future, this sheet will be used to develop disaster prevention education in cooperation with schools and families.
In addition, we sent document requesting active cooperation in disaster prevention education to city PTA communication meeting chairperson.

1 Contents and composition of “Disaster Prevention Check Sheet”

elementary school student has created three types: 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade elementary school students, 4th, 5th and 6th grade elementary school students, and junior high school students.

(1)"Disaster Prevention Check Sheet" This is a sheet that summarizes questions regarding how to deal with crisis situations.

(2)"Let's make a home danger check map" Use it to discover the dangers around you.

(3)"Guidance commentary for parents" Explains the use of disaster prevention check sheets at home and the points of guidance.

2 Purpose of the Disaster Prevention Check Sheet

(1)elementary school student students and their parents can walk along the area and school roads, check places to watch out for, create maps, and discover nearby dangers. This is an opportunity for children to learn practical disaster prevention actions.
(2)We value the time for discussions between elementary school student students and their parents at home and check their disaster prevention actions. By checking the promises of actions and how to contact them, we can help avoid crisis.
(3)By knowing the disaster prevention activities conducted by local people and schools, you will learn the importance of making use of it in your own safety and cooperating with local people.

3 Points for how to proceed with disaster prevention learning (four stages)

1 School
・Orientation on how to use disaster prevention check sheets
・Provision of disaster prevention information, etc. in school district

2 Homes
・Disaster prevention learning using disaster prevention check sheet
・Collection and arrangement of disaster prevention information in residential areas

3 Schools
・Use of disaster prevention check sheets at home and advice on disaster prevention learning
・Provision of necessary information

4 Homes
・Use and reconfirmation of check sheets
・Confirmation, enforcement, and posting of promises at home
