Yokohama Educational Vision 2030

In 2006, City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat formulated the "Yokohama Educational Vision," which depicts the goal of education in Yokohama, and has been working to achieve this goal.
In February 2018, with a view to the ideal way of society around 2030, based on the concept of the new curriculum guidelines, we formulated a new vision with a view to approximately 10 years, focusing on school education at elementary, junior high and high school stages, It shows the development of people that education in Yokohama aims for, the power that education in Yokohama, and the direction of education in Yokohama.

The braille version of "Yokohama Education Vision 2030" is available at the City Hall's Citizen Information Room and at each ward office's Ward Administration Promotion Division.

Yokohama Education Vision (established in 2006)

In 2004, City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat established the Yokohama Educational Reform Council, which examined the ideal way of education in Yokohama and the direction of reform, prior to the revision of the Basic Education Law and the revision of the curriculum guidelines, and formulated the Yokohama Educational Vision in 2006.
