Child care open space (authorized child institution, nursery school)

As the position of COVID-19 infection under the Infectious Diseases Law was reviewed on May 8, 2023 as Class 5 infectious diseases, the certified child institution and nursery school community child care support project will be based on May 8, 2023. From the day, we will respect independent choices regarding daily infection control measures and leave it to the judgment of individuals and businesses.
Please note that depending on the judgment of each facility, we may carry out the project while taking measures to prevent the spread of infection.
Also, please note that depending on the period when the infection is spreading rapidly, infection control measures may be strengthened.
A. To users

B. Measures to prevent the spread of infection
Depending on the judgment of each facility, we may carry out the project while taking measures to prevent the spread of infection, such as hand disinfection, disinfection of common areas, and indoor ventilation.

In authorized child institution, nursery school of Yokohama-shi, we work on local child care support that utilized facility and human resources of garden as "child care open space". We open gardens and hold childcare courses and exchange childcare so that parents and children raising children in the area can have fun. You can also make friends while chatting with parents who are raising children.

There are permanent (opening at least three days a week) and other facilities (all Tatesono, Yokohama City other than permanent, and some certified children's schools and private nursery schools).
The date and time of the project vary depending on the facility, so please contact Children and Families Support Division in your ward or the facility you wish to use directly.
