As the employment environment of young people deteriorating significantly, the number of young people who are unable to work even if they want to work, such as Hiki Komoriya "Net", and the number of young people who do not have a place in society and need support.

In recent years, an increasing number of adolescent children who are not good at communication, such as going late at night or violence in schools, and cause problems.

In order to address these issues facing young people and children, various organizations have established a network for utilizing their expertise and provide support according to the developmental stage and mental and physical conditions of children and young people. The "Child and Youth Development Support Promotion Law" was enforced on April 1, 2010.　

In Motoichi, we have developed various measures and businesses that are unprecedented nationwide for the development and support of young people and children who have difficulties in conducting such social life.

Therefore, the "Child and Youth Support Regional Council" (Yokohama City Child and Youth Support Council) stipulated by the "Child and Youth Development Support Promotion Act" was established for the first time in a government-designated city. From the perspective of young people, we will review our past measures and businesses and work on creating a comprehensive support system.

We carried out "Yokohama-shi child, youth fact-finding" for the second time since 2012 to grasp the actual situation of child, youth of Motoichi or the needs of young people with difficulties. In addition, we carried out "citizen life fact-finding" of the same content as "Yokohama-shi child, youth fact-finding". It will be used as basic data when considering future measures.
