Making a place to stay for elementary school students in the morning experimental project

As part of the Oyako More Smile Package, a policy package that creates “comfort to feel” for child-rearing and creates everyday smiles for parents and children, Yokohama City has been implementing the experimental project program since July 2024 to create an environment where children can spend time in the morning before elementary school begins. The experimental project program is held at Utsukushigaoka Elementary School and Utsukushigaoka Higashi Elementary School in the area around Utsukushigaoka, Aoba-ku Park in the "Model District for Promoting Child-Rearing". In situations where parents have to go to work earlier than their children, we aim to eliminate the anxiety of parents and children by creating options for places to stay in the morning.

Pre-registration is required. After pre-registration from the Yokohama City Electronic Application System, this project can be used at any time during the implementation period. For those who wish to use it, please request materials for the documents required for use.
※The registration period is until the 15th of the previous month of the month of use.
(Example) If you wish to use the service from October, pre-register by September 15. Available from October 1st.
Grants such as registration certificates will be issued by the 25th of the previous month of the month of use after application by electronic application.
