We will work on breaking down the "Small 1 Wall"! Creating a place for elementary school students to stay in the morning experimental project

In Yokohama City, as part of the initiative of the Oyako More Smile Package, a policy package that creates “comfortable space” for child-rearing and creates everyday smiles for parents and children, we will support parents to balance childcare and work. We will implement the "experimental project Creating a Morning Place for Elementary School Students" with the aim of creating an environment where they can spend their time in the morning hours before the start of elementary school. This experimental project will start at two schools, Utsukushigaoka Elementary School and Utsukushigaoka Higashi Elementary School, located in the area around Miyoshigaoka Park, Aoba-ku, a model district for promoting child-rearing. In a dual-income family, we aim to eliminate the anxiety of parents and children by creating options for a place to stay in the morning when parents need to go to work earlier than their children.

Pre-registration is required. After pre-registration from the Yokohama City Electronic Application System, this project can be used at any time during the implementation period. For those who wish to use the service, please request materials for the necessary documents.

About application for document request

experimental project is required to transfer insurance premiums and pre-registration. There is a special transfer handling slip for insurance premium transfer, so if you wish to use it, please request a document from the electronic application form below.
