Hometown Konan's pride

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Konan Ward System, we have issued a renewal version of the "Hometown Konan Town Proud Guidebook".

This is an initiative to rediscover the charm of the hometown Konan.

Konan Ward celebrated his 40th birthday in 2009.
"Town boasting" is an initiative to deepen the attachment and familiarity as "hometown" by confirming the charm of Konan, which has been nurtured so far, with everyone living in this town.

Let's make use of it as a catalyst for future local activities.

This is an idea that you can enjoy the town and connect people. Please find a way to enjoy your town's pride!

　Now that we celebrated the 40th anniversary of the constituency system, we wanted to convey the uniqueness of Konan Ward again, and created in collaboration with inhabitants of the ward and local newspapers (town news).
In this paper, we will introduce shops recommended as "delicious!" And inhabitants' activities that work hard for the community, among the pride of the town that had you apply in FY19.
In addition, inhabitants of a ward had you participate in coverage, article making in town boasting communication. We tell about local charm from viewpoint of inhabitant of a ward.

• Use for commercial purposes and disadvantageous use of related organizations

In order to enliven and support the local activities of inhabitants of the ward, and to promote community development like Konan Ward, we have established the "Local Activities Support Logo Mark".
This logo mark was created by combining the local activity support slogan "Bright and cheerful sunflower Konan" decided in May 2010 with the Konan Ward symbol mark (sunflower).
The brightness is created by using colors centered on yellow and oranges, and the frame is crayon touch to create softness and warmth.
The wish is to work together to improve Konan Ward.

A video of a song for the Konan Ward community development, which was created in fiscal 2009 as part of an effort to boost local activities, is introduced on the Konan Ward website.
In the video, a special music club at Maruyamadai Elementary School in the city sings a support song.
