Oldness and Konan's town pride

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Konan Ward System, we issued a renewal version of "Furusato Konan's Town Boasting Guidebook".

This is an initiative to rediscover the charm of hometown Konan.

Konan Ward celebrated his 40th birthday in 2009.
"Town pride" is an initiative to deepen the attachment and familiarity as "hometown" by confirming the charm of the town of Konan that has been nurtured so far with everyone living in this town.

Let's make use of it as an opportunity for future local activities.

It is an idea that starts with the pride of the town, enjoys the town and connects people. Please find out how to enjoy your town's pride!

Now that we have celebrated the 40th anniversary of the constituency system, we wanted to convey the uniqueness of Konan Ward to everyone, and created it in collaboration with residents and local newspapers (town news).
In this space, we will introduce shops recommended as "delicious!" Of the pride of the town that applied in FY19, and ward activities that work hard for the community.
In addition, inhabitants of a ward participated in coverage, article making in town boasting communication. . We tell about local charm from eyes unique to inhabitant of a ward.

In order to boost and support the local community activities of residents and promote the Konan Ward-like community development, we have established a logo for supporting local activities.
This logo was created by combining the slogan "Bright Genki Himawari Konan", which was decided in May 2010, and the Konan Ward symbol mark (Himawari).
By using colors centered on yellow and orange, the brightness is created, and the frame is made with a crayon touch to create softness and warmth.
The wish is to work together to improve Konan Ward.

In fiscal 2009, we introduced a video of "Bright Cheerful Himawari Konan," a song supported by Konan Ward community development, which was created to boost local activities, on the Konan Ward website.
In the video, a special music club at Maruyamadai Elementary School in the city sings support songs.
