About approach to promote Konan Ward reading activity

In April 2020, we revised the "Konan Ward Reading Activity Promotion Goal (PDF: 12,639KB)"
There is also a "reading map" that lists major reading facilities in Konan Ward, so please use it as a reference for reading activities.

You can borrow books from City Library's website and return books borrowed from City Library at the Konandai District Center. You can also update your library card registration and change your registration details (Address, Phone number, name, etc.) Please bring a driver's license, health insurance card, etc. that can confirm your name and current address.
To register a new library card, please use the City Library window or mail reception desk to Chuo-toshokan.

　※You can return "book return box" while the district center is open.
　※Holidays are on the fourth Monday (or the next day if it is a holiday) and the year-end and New Year holidays, which are the closed day of the Konandai District Center.

On November 23, 2021 (Tuesday/holiday), a lecture and exhibition by Hisashi Inoue's classmate Soroku Ogawa, in the meeting room on the 6th floor of the Konan Ward Office.
At the same time, Konan Library held an exhibition "Hisshi Inoue Exhibition-Fun Interestingly Things".

From Monday, November 15, 2021 to Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the ward office on the first floor of the Konan Ward government office.
A panel exhibition was held in Konan Ward to introduce groups and facilities related to the promotion of reading activities.

On Saturday, November 28, 2020, Masayuki Yabuuchi gave a lecture and exhibition in the meeting room on the 6th floor of the Konan Ward Office.

In November 2020, a panel exhibition was held at the ward hall on the first floor of the Konan Ward government office, focusing on photographs comparing the old days of the station in Konan Ward.

From February to March 2021, the Konan Library held three children's song meetings for 1.2-year-olds and their parents in Konan Ward.

On Wednesday, August 21, 2019, we made cards and read picture books for elementary school students at Konan Library.

In November 2019, the Konan Ward Office and Konan Library exhibited comparative photos of Konan Ward as well as related books, and a panel introducing the library.

In February 2020, we held a children's song meeting twice at Konan Library for 1.2-year-old children and their parents in the city.
