Gakusha Himawari - a place for learning for community development through collaboration
What is "Learning School Sunflower"?
Learningsha Himawari is a place where people who are currently active in Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, District Shakyo, and various commissioning organizations can think about community developmentcommunity development from various perspectives.
Students review the community from their own perspectives and discuss each other with each other, further deepen their awareness of community development, leading to new discoveries and resolution of issues. It is also an opportunity for local people and Konan Ward staff and related facility staff to learn at the same table to build better partnerships in the future.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the opening of the school last year, in order to expand the community development circle through collaboration, people working at local companies in Konan Ward can also participate.
Konan Ward's goal by promoting community development through collaboration
※This goal was shared at the Cheerful community development Promotion Forum held in March 2014.
・I have an attachment to the area where I live and realize "Hometown Konan" that connects to the next generation.
・Activities such as the Disaster Prevention reduce disaster damage, the regional anti-crime program, and watching and supporting each other are carried out in all districts.
・Inhabitants of a ward work on local activity and health promotion, and it is town where each person can live well in super-aging society.
・The government and the local government are working together to create a better community development.
Group work to learn and enhance each other
By exchanging opinions with people from different regions, you can realize that you can't usually get.
Write down the attractive spots of your city and share them in groups.
Practical lectures by local activists
Students learn about community development's points, success stories, and failure stories by listening to lectures based on actual experience and visiting the site.
It is valuable because it is hard to hear the activities of other regions.
At Gakusha Himawari, we value connections between students and graduates, and making friends. We will provide opportunities for collaborative work between students and exchange with graduates.
