What is the Children's Dream World?

"Konan Children's Dream World" provides a place for intergenerational and international exchanges in the region, so that the next generation of children can look at the local community and the world, foster a broad perspective, independence and creativity. This event is held every year for the purpose of healthy youth development so that they can grow up.

Konan Children's Dream World 2023 Report

On November 4, 2023, "Konan Children's Dream World 2023" was held under the fine autumn weather.
Stage announcements and eating and drinking were resumed at Konan Fureai Park for the first time in four years, and the venue was crowded with many people. The number of visitors is about 23,000.
Fifty sponsoring companies and local organizations have opened stores, including the “World Stall Villages” and working car experience rides. In the stage presentation, 25 groups showed the results of their daily practice, and the children moved on the stage.
In terms of operation, volunteer child staff, along with supporting companies and local communities, volunteer child staff, helped to open stores and host stage presentations. It was an event where the children's smiles burst.

・In the event of stormy weather, stage announcements will be made at Konan Public Hall. Opening of the store will be canceled.
・In case of stormy weather or cancellation, we will inform you on this website.
・There is no parking lot or bicycle parking lots at the venue. Please refrain from coming by car, motorcycle, or bicycle.
　Please use public transportation when you arrive.
・It is expected to be very crowded from immediately after opening until noon. Admission is subject to restrictions.

(1)Stage presentation by children

Children from 25 groups (planned) will perform various performances such as dance, performance, and kendama.

（2） Booths for children

Various companies and organizations in the area will open booths that children can enjoy, please visit various shops.
◆Sale of food, sweets, miscellaneous goods, etc. from around the world
◆Lottery, quizzes, games, etc.
◆Experience corner Ikebana, Metaverse, e-sports, etc.
◆Miscellaneous goods, sweets, fried chicken, rice balls, beverages, etc.
◆Exhibition of working vehicles, riding experience garbage trucks, fire trucks, high-altitude work vehicles, small heavy equipment, etc.
◆Sale of special products introduced in Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture
◆Challenge the Game Various mini-games such as quoits and targets by youth instructors

At Konan Fureai Park, we will hold a Metaverse and e-sports experience session.
◆Metaverse experience meeting
At the metaverse experience session, you can see an exhibition that displays works created by children in the metaverse space with VR goggles.
You can also see the exhibition from your smartphone etc. without participating in the hands-on event.
