Last Updated January 26, 2024

What is anti-crime program Terakoya?

In cooperation with the Konan anti-crime program Association, the Konan Ward Office organizes anti-crime program Terakoya, a anti-crime program classroom at elementary schools in the ward.
The Konan anti-crime program Terakoya Corps, a community-based organization centered on juvenile assistants and anti-crime program instructors, serves as a teacher, and conducts the anti-crime program Terakoya to help children learn social rules, such as what they can do and what they can do.

What kind of training do you have?

We offer the following courses according to each school age.

1st grade

I remember "Odakopolis Four Promises" by singing and dancing.
●I'll go to the house! ・・ ・ When going out, be sure to tell the people at home where to go before going out.
●Let's play with your friends! ・・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ ・ If you are alone, you will be more likely to be targeted by those who try to do bad things such as kidnapping.
 ●Don't keep up with me! ・・ ・ ・ ・ Don't go if someone you don't know calls.
●If you're scared, take care of it! ・・ ・ ・ If you are about to be taken forcibly, shout "help" in a loud voice.

In addition to the above contents, we will conduct classes where you can think about "good and bad things" yourself.

2nd year student

I will focus on reviewing anti-crime program Terakoya, which I studied in my first year, and think about bullying.

Junior high school students (3rd and 4th graders)

Utilize DVDs and prints to discuss what to do and what to do, and learn the rules of society that says "don't take people's things" and "don't shoplift."

Higher grades (5th and 6th graders)

Utilizing DVDs and prints, classes focusing on "Internet crime" will be conducted.
Students learn about the rules of society and learn the importance of having "normative consciousness" and "independent anti-crime program consciousness" and having trouble, and consulting with people, teachers, and friends at home.
