Safety and Security Town Development Promotion Council

Aiming at a town where people can live safely and with peace of mind, inhabitants of a ward, various groups, and related administrative organizations cooperate to conduct comprehensive enlightenment activities.
At the time of its establishment, Konan Ward was the first council in Yokohama to integrate traffic safety, anti-crime program, fire and disaster prevention.

We hold comprehensive awareness-raising activities (cam campaigns) several times a year.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we took countermeasures against infectious diseases, reduced the scale, and held a dispersed manner.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had a large-scale campaign.

Since 2011, the award ceremony has been held jointly with the Safety and Security Community Development Promotion Council and the Global Warming Countermeasures and Yokohama 3R Dream Promotion Headquarters.
At the joint award ceremony, those who have contributed to "Traffic Safety", "anti-crime program", "Fire and Disaster Prevention", "Beautification Activities", and "Promotion of 3R Dream Plan" will be commended. You.
Along with the rebuilding of Konan Public Hall, an award ceremony was held at Willing Yokohama in Kamiooka during the construction period.
