Aiming at a town where people can live safely and with peace of mind, inhabitants of a ward, various groups, and related administrative organizations cooperate to carry out comprehensive enlightenment activities. .
Konan Ward was established in 2004 and was the first council in Yokohama to integrate traffic safety, anti-crime program, fire prevention and disaster prevention.

We hold comprehensive awareness-raising activities (campaigns) several times a year.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we took measures to combat infectious diseases, reduced the scale, and held them in a distributed manner.

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, large-scale campaigns were held.

Since 2011, the award ceremony has been held jointly with the Safety and Security Town Development Promotion Council and the Global Warming Countermeasures / Yokohama 3R Dream Promotion Headquarters. .
At the joint awards ceremony, awards will be given to those who have contributed to traffic safety, anti-crime program, fire prevention and disaster prevention, beautification activities, and promotion of 3R Dream Plans.
With the rebuilding of Konan Public Hall, an award ceremony was held at Willing Yokohama in Kamiooka during the construction period.
