What is Kohoku Open Garden?

This event is held every spring around gardens and community flower beds that the residents of the city are caring for with all their heart.
"Open Garden" is an event that opens a private garden, but "Kohoku Open Garden" introduces flower beds raised by groups in addition to individual gardens and flower beds raised by groups in addition to individual gardens. There is a special feature in that.
Through the "Kohoku Open Garden", we hope that many people will feel the charm of this city, and that it will lead to "town development of flowers and greenery" and "community building".

6 Requests for those who visit the garden

The open garden is made up of the courtesy of all the participants. Please observe the manners and observe.
1.Please check the release date of each venue before visiting.
2.For tours of the garden and flower beds during the event, please use the plate with the venue number plate as a landmark.
3.Please watch while paying attention to plants and feet so as not to damage the garden.
4.Please use public transportation to each venue.
5.It is not possible to use the toilet in private homes. Please use public toilets, etc.
6.When taking pictures of the garden (excluding community flower beds), talk to the garden owner.

From April, it will be distributed at the Kohoku Ward Office, ward district center, community care plaza, community house, community school, Kohoku library, railway station, administrative service corner, etc.

Special Information Center

In addition to distributing pamphlets and exchanging prizes for stamp rally prizes, we will guide you to the highlights and how to get to each venue. Please feel free to drop in. Elementary school students and younger will receive a sticker of Kohoku Ward Mizuki on a first-come, first-served basis!

Tour the gardens in the Hiyoshi area, Tsunashima area, and Kikuna areas with guide volunteers. Please refer to the brochure (map page) for the tour route. Participation is free! ※Rainy weather cancellation (we will inform you on this page, etc. by 8:00 on the day)

Why don't you enjoy taking a lot of photos with Kohoku Ward Mizuki at three locations in the city? ※Rainy weather cancellation (we will inform you on this page, etc. by 8:00 on the day)

Stamp Rally of Kohoku Ward Mizukey and Garden Bear

Would you like to participate in the stamp rally with a pamphlet? If you collect stamps of "Kohoku Ward Mizuki" and "Garden Bear" in a garden with three special information centers and pamphlets, you can get wonderful prizes at the special information center! Flag and plate are the landmarks.

[Stamp Rally Prize]
 Five stamps will give you a "bathing agent", 10 stamps will give you "Miskey Note", and 20 stamps will give you a "Miskey towel"!
 ※Prize exchange is given once per person, on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one of them can be replaced.
 ※Handing over the water key towel has been reached, so it has ended.

 ・If you go to a place you don't know, go with your parents.
 ・When walking around the city, follow the traffic rules and watch out for the cars and bicycles around.
 ・When you press the stamp, be sure to close the lid of the stamp.
 ・Be careful not to step on the plants in your garden.

Exhibition at the City Hall Atrium

In the four wards of Asahi, Kohoku, Sakae, and Seya, where the open garden is held, an exhibition will be held during the event period. We display photographs and objects that capture the state of the venues in each ward, and send out the charm of the garden and flower beds that everyone in each area in the city is taking care of. Please drop in when you come to Yokohama City Hall!
