Kozuku Castle Ruins Festival

The Kozuki Castle Ruins Festival is designed to encourage residents of the city to widely understand the origin and history of Kozuki Castle, a historical asset in the ward, and to promote attractive town planning that combines "sports, health and welfare". It is held every spring for the purpose of promoting local tourism.

※The warrior procession is from Sankaiji Temple to Kozuki Tsuji

Departure time: 10:00 a.m. (Journey rain)
Route: Sankai-ji Temple to Kozuki Tsuji
・The "Musha Procession" starts at Sankaiji Temple with the fireworks of Kozuki Castle Ruins, and parades to Kongoji Temple while performing firing performances by gun squads in various places.
・At the Kongoji parking lot on the way, there is a welcome performance by a brass band.
・At the last point, Shimin-no-Mori, Kozuki Castle Ruins, an annual “start ceremony” will be held.
