In Yokohama City, based on the provisions of Article 24 of the Food Sanitation Law, in order to ensure the safety and security of citizens' food, the "Yokohama City Food Sanitation Monitoring and Guidance Plan" reflecting the opinions of citizens is formulated every year. Based on this monitoring plan, we provide information on food, conduct on-site inspections of related business facilities such as food, and inspect foods.

1.Measures against food poisoning caused by meat
Because there is a lot of Campylobacter food poisoning caused by raw or undercooked chicken dishes, and raw meat such as cows may be contaminated with enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli, restaurants handling meat We will focus on monitoring and guidance.
In addition, we provide citizens with information to eat after heating the meat sufficiently.
2.Support for the establishment of hygiene management in accordance with HACCP
Entering facilities, conducting collective workshops and e-learning so that food sales facilities such as restaurants can continue to carry out "hygiene management in accordance with HACCP required by the Food Sanitation Law, etc. Provide technical support through At the same time, we will support the introduction of facilities that have not been introduced.
3.Food hygiene measures for social welfare facilities
Elderly facilities, daycare centers, elementary schools, etc. tend to be larger and more serious when food poisoning occurs. Therefore, as measures to prevent food poisoning such as norovirus, we will provide advice and guidance on health management of workers, thorough hand washing, and proper handling of food. .
In addition, we will provide advice and guidance on measures to prevent Weersh bacteria food poisoning, where the number of outbreaks is increasing.
Seminars for businesses will be conducted mainly on e-learning so that more employees can attend.
4.Measures to prevent the occurrence of harm caused by seafood
In response to the frequent occurrence of food poisoning caused by Anisakis every year, we provide guidance to restaurants and retailers handling seafood on thorough removal of parasites such as Anisakis, and kill the insect body. We recommend frozen processing that has the effect of killing. At the same time, we will collect knowledge about anisakis by investigating the parasitic situation and use it to raise awareness of food poisoning prevention.
In addition, we will educate stores that handle blowfish, such as appropriate handling guidance and prevention of mixing blowfish into small fish such as shirasu.
