Remark 1: CFU is an acronym for Colony Forming Unit (colony formation unit), and refers to the number of colonies (groups) of bacteria cultivated in the medium.
Remark 2: ppm is an abbreviation for part per million, which means how much it is for one million minutes. For example, 1 kg of food contains 1 mg of chemical substances, it will be 1 ppm.
Note 3:MU is an abbreviation for Mouse Unit. When a toxic substance is administered into a mice weighing 20 grams, the amount of poison that kills in 15 minutes for paralyzed shellfish, 24 hours for diarrheal shellfish poisoning, and 30 minutes for pufferfish poison is defined as 1MU.
