For the purpose of promoting the construction of a regional medical cooperation network utilizing ICT in the region, in 2017, "Regional medical cooperation network guidelines utilizing Yokohama ICT (hereinafter referred to as" city guidelines ") In fiscal 2018, the “Yokohama EHR Construction Support Project” was implemented as a demonstration project of the city guidelines, and the “Salvia Net” was established in Tsurumi Ward.
Medical and nursing care institutions share patient information (electronic medical record information, medical institution consultation history, drug prescription history, test results, etc.) through a cooperative network utilizing ICT, thereby improving community medicine and welfare. This is an initiative aimed at contributing to the improvement and realizing services such as medical care and nursing care according to the condition of each patient.
Yokohama City has established the “Regional Medical Collaboration Network Study Group Utilizing Yokohama City ICT” to study how to use ICT that can be used more effectively and efficiently in the future of 2025, when baby boomers will become seniors. (From FY2015)
3 About Yokohama-shi EHR construction demonstration project
(1) Process
Based on the fact that one year has passed since the start of operation of Salvia Net, this report entrusted the usage status of the project as of FY2019 to Town News Co., Ltd. and interviewed participating facilities. This is a summary of the convenience and usefulness of the project and the issues currently being held.
In the future, based on this report, we will reflect it in policies such as the construction of a regional medical cooperation network utilizing ICT in Motoichi. In addition, by sharing this report, including other areas in the city, it is an unexpected pleasure if it helps to foster momentum related to the construction of a regional medical cooperation network utilizing ICT in Motoichi.
(2) Target readers
This report is intended for medical and nursing staff involved in the planning, construction, and operation of a regional medical cooperation network utilizing ICT in Motoichi, and for medical and nursing staff who actually use it. However, since cooperation with outside the city is also considered, suburban stakeholders are also included in the target readers. Therefore, it is not a summary of citizens and patients as a target reader.
