About heart rehabilitation

Heart rehabilitation (heart rehabilitation) is a comprehensive program (exercise therapy, medication / diet / life guidance, rehabilitation support, counseling, etc.) to prevent the recurrence and severity of cardiovascular disease. It has been reported that cardiac rehabilitation reduces the recurrence and re-hospitalization of heart failure and myocardial infarction, and reduces mortality.

A comic video that shows heart rehabilitation "Do you know? "Heart Rehabilitation" has been created.
It is distributed and aired on Yokohama City Youtube channel and city medical institutions.

In cooperation with Bayer Yakuhin Co., Ltd., which has concluded a "Cooperation Agreement on Comprehensive Citizen Enlightenment on Medical Care" with Yokohama City, we created a booklet "Do you know Heart Rehabilitation?"

Yokohama City has designated a “Heart Rehabilitation Reinforcement Designated Hospital” and is working on building a regional cooperation system that allows patients with heart disease to receive heart rehabilitation without interruption to the community and home. At the same time, we will also work on human resource development and awareness.

Strengthened Designated Hospital is a hospital that plays a role in regional cooperation and enlightenment and promotes heart rehabilitation. It plays a role in increasing the number of patients undergoing heart rehabilitation by formulating and implementing a cooperative plan with sports facilities and medical institutions.

We have concluded cooperation agreements with designated managers of 20 citizen use facilities and two private sports gyms so that patients can continue exercising safely in local familiar places such as ward sports centers.

In addition, there was change in some designated managers from the time of press release, but there is no change in cooperation.

In cooperation with familiar sports facilities such as sports centers, we are creating a system that allows those who are subject to heart rehabilitation to exercise safely and safely.
For exercise facility staff, we have created videos of three themes related to heart rehabilitation (1 Heart Rehabilitation-Introduction-About Heart Rehabilitation-Aerobic Exercise, 3 Heart Rehabilitation-Resistance Training-) for exercise facility staff. We hope that the exercise facility staff will help you understand heart rehabilitation.
