Yokohama Municipal Hospital (Municipal Hospital, Stroke and Neurospinal Center) has a "scholarship system" for those who are enrolled in nurses and midwives training schools. Immediately after graduation, if you are considering a job at Yokohama Municipal Hospital, we are looking forward to your application.

All of the following requirements must be met:

1. Those who are expected to obtain a nurse's license or midwife's license
2. As of April 1, 2024, those who are enrolled in a school or training center for training nurses and midwives and who are in the final grade.
3. Those who can submit a transcript issued by a school or training center for training nurses and midwives (for those who are in the first year of a school or training center for training midwives, may be in the transcript of the school or training center for training nurses in the previous year.)
4. Those who are employed at 2 Yokohama Municipal Hospital immediately after graduation and intend to work as nursing staff (nurses or midwives)
5. Those who have excellent grades and are physically and mentally healthy.
6. A person who has not borrowed the same kind of loan with a refund exemption provision
7. A person who can set up two joint guarantors (Note 1) within 14 days after the scholarship loan is decided

Note 1: Two adults who have an independent livelihood (one out of two adults does not have the same livelihood)

1. You cannot take the scholarship only. Be sure to take the Yokohama Municipal Hospital Nursing Staff Recruitment Selection on the same day as the interview date (application for both recruitment selection and scholarship screening are required).

3. You can take the exam only once in April or May. You can't take both exams.

From April of the year to which the loan was decided to belong to the month of graduation from a school or training center for training nurses and midwives in school
(If the loan is decided as a result of the examination, the loan will be made retroactively to April.)

In principle, it will be issued twice every six months (from April to September, from October).

Document screening and individual interview

・The date and time of the presentation will be communicated to candidates on the day of the interview (scheduled about 2 weeks after each interview date).
・We publish examination number of loan decision person on Web site of Yokohama-shi nursing staff employment information.
・All candidates will be notified of the results of the loan.

The lender must submit the joint guarantor's "Seal Registration Certificate" attached to the "Pledge" with the joint signature of two joint guarantors (one of the two adults does not have the same livelihood). The details and deadline of the submitted documents will be announced in writing along with the loan approval letter. If you do not receive it within the deadline, you will be deemed to have declined.

If you get a job at Yokohama Municipal Hospital immediately after graduation and engage in nursing work for a period equivalent to the loan period, you will be exempt from refund.
In other cases, in principle, the loaned scholarship will be returned in a lump within the period specified by us.
If the refund is delayed, we will charge you to pay the late damages in addition to the refund amount.

Please apply from the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System during the application acceptance period on the interview day you wish to take the exam.

Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site)
New registration is required when using the Yokohama City Electronic Application and Notification System for the first time.
Please be sure to write down the ID and password obtained at the time of registration. If you forget your ID and password, you will not be able to download applications and admission tickets.
From the procedure list (for individuals), search for "2024 Nursing Student Scholarship Examination".

The following documents are required for application. Please prepare in advance and mail by simple registered mail by the last day of the application acceptance period on the interview day you wish to take the exam (postmark valid on the day) (not accepted directly or outside the application acceptance period).

Put the required documents in the envelope and mail it by simple registered mail. Be sure to write your name Address on the back of the envelope.
You may enclose it with required documents for the recruitment application.

Examination tickets will be issued in PDF format at least one week before the selection date (we will notify you to the e-mail address entered in the application form as soon as it can be issued).
If you are unable to download your admission ticket within 5 days before the exam date, please contact the Nursing Student Scholarship Section (0120-74-4174).

One clear photo taken within the last 6 months (about 4 cm long x 3 cm wide, upper body, front facing, hat off, color / black and white can be used, examination number and name on the back) Please put).

1 We will not accept applications other than the prescribed application method.
2 Applications are valid only once (except for the first application).
About operating environment necessary for 3 electronic application, please confirm "operating environment" of Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system homepage.
4 If you do not operate anything for more than 60 minutes after the screen is displayed, the communication with the server will be disconnected and the timeout will occur.
　　If the timeout occurs, try again from the beginning.
5 The line will be very crowded just before the application deadline. In addition, it may not be available temporarily due to system maintenance, etc.
　　Please apply in advance, such as completing the application by the day before the deadline.
　　In addition, we are not responsible for any troubles in the event of a failure on the PC or communication line used.
6 Applications cannot be made after the application acceptance period.
