In Motoichi, we are working on frail prevention because prevention of frail contributes to extension of healthy life expectancy. Frail prevention is important in order to stay healthy and active forever.
We carry out event of flail prevention by Yokohama-shi, Aeon Retail Co., Ltd., Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Yokohama-shi sports association so that we can learn about frail and work on prevention of frail.
Participants will receive luxurious novelty goods to those who participate! (Limited quantity)

Frail refers to a condition in which the function of the body and mind, such as physical strength, energy, and cognitive functions, are reduced in the elderly, and the risk of need for nursing care in the future is increasing.
In other words, a frail can be said to be an "intermediate state" between "health" and "need for nursing care".
In addition, by noticing and preventing the frail early, the condition can be expected to maintain and improve the condition.

Yokohama City conducted a questionnaire survey of elderly people aged 65 and over in Yokohama for three years from FY2019 to FY4 (*). As a result, when comparing FY2019 and FY2022, the percentage of those who did not receive support / nursing care certification and did not need nursing care or assistance, the percentage of those who were judged to be frail was 1.3 times.
※In Yokohama-shi, we ask elderly person 65 years or older who does not receive certification for long-term care (excluding support required) living in the city and have not received certification for long-term care (excluding support required) living in the city.
