The Yokohama City Keiro Special Ride Certificate (Keiro Pass) system is a system aimed at supporting the social participation of the elderly and improving the welfare of the elderly.
On the other hand, with regard to this system, there are issues such as increasing the number of target elderly people due to the declining birthrate and aging population, and increasing the burden on both transportation companies and Motoichi. There is.
It is necessary to review the system so that it can be a sustainable system, as operating costs are expected to increase further due to the aging of society over the medium to long term.
Therefore, when we consulted with the Yokohama City Council of Social Welfare about the ideal way of this system, in June 2019, the "Special Study Subcommittee on the Way of the Yokohama City Keiro Special Ride Certificate System" was established, and until December of the same year, We had discussions over six times, and in January 2020, we received a report from the subcommittee.
