Promotion of Local Activities
The "Local Activities Home for Persons with Disabilities" is originally set up by Yokohama City as a base facility to support local life for children with disabilities and persons at home and their families. Major services include day-to-day activities (day service (elderly day care) and disability welfare services), as well as life support services (temporary care, short stays, leisure activities support, toy library) and consultation support services (social welfare corporation-type disability community activities home). However, for daytime activities (day service (elderly day care) business and disability welfare service business), it is necessary to apply to the ward where you live and receive a payment decision. Please contact the following activity homes directly for details of the business, available age, reception method, etc.
※Depending on the business, there is a user burden such as actual expenses.
In addition, local activity homes for persons with disabilities are classified into the following two types according to the facility scale.
- Function-enhanced community activity home for persons with disabilities
- Social welfare corporation-type disability community activity home
