Promotion of Local Activities
Yokohama City has set up its own "Local Activities Home for Persons with Disabilities" as a base facility to support local life such as children with disabilities and persons at home and their families. The main services include daytime activities (day service (elderly day care) business, disability welfare service business), life support projects (temporary care, short stay, leisure activities support, toy library) and consultation support services (conducted at social welfare corporations with disabilities). However, for daytime activities (day service (elderly day care) business and disability welfare service business), it is necessary to apply to your ward and receive a payment decision. Please contact the following activity homes directly for details of the business content, available age, reception method, etc.
※Depending on the business, there is a user's burden, such as the actual cost.
In addition, local activities homes for persons with disabilities are classified into the following two types according to facility scale.
- Function-enhanced Community Activities Home for Persons with Disabilities
- Social welfare corporation type community activity home for persons with disabilities
