Basic Philosophy

1 We will protect the human rights of each user and respect their individuality.

2 We will monitor the safety and security of users and provide high-quality "user-oriented" services.

3 We support the "transition to local life" of users.

Ethics Network

Article 1 Respect for Individuals
The staff values the personality of each user, respects its independence and individuality, and respects individuals.

Article 2 Advocacy of human rights
Employees do not allow any discrimination or human rights violations against each user, respect basic rights such as self-determination and privacy protection, and defend human rights.

Article 3 Respect for Self-Selection and Self-Determination
The staff will respect and support self-selection and self-determination so that self-realization can be achieved through self-selection and self-determination of each user.

Article 4 Individual Support
In the support of the user, the staff will respond to the individuality and needs of each individual, and create an individual support plan based on sufficient explanation and mutual understanding to the user and family.

Article 5 Improvement of living environment
The staff strives to improve the facilities and surrounding environment so that users can spend a comfortable and fulfilling day.

Article 6 Support for Social Participation
The staff will support users to live richly as citizens in the local community while interacting with local residents.

Article 7 Support for Home Residents
The staff strives to improve welfare services for people with intellectual disabilities at home and their families through general consultation and short-term entrance projects.

Article 8 Harmony with the Community
The staff incorporates the acceptance of volunteers and apprentices and the opening of facilities into the facility management and promotes collaboration with the community.

Article 9 Staff Action Standards
In concrete actions, the Yokohama City Staff Action Standards will be the norm.
