We push forward cancellation, outbreak prevention of "bad living environment" by garbage!

In Yokohama-shi, to plan cancellation of "bad living environment" by garbage, "the regulations about support and measures to plan cancellation of bad living environment in Yokohama-shi buildings and prevention of outbreak" (so-called "garbage mansion" measures regulations) "was enforced on December 1, 2016, and we are working on it.

What is a bad living environment?

A state in which the living environment of the person or the neighborhood is impaired, such as the occurrence of odors and pests, collapse, and the danger of fire, etc. (so-called “garbage mansion”) Says.

Support that is close to the person

Basically, the responsibility of eliminating the so-called "garbage mansion" state lies with the person who has stored the object.
However, there are various issues behind this, such as dementia, deterioration of physical function due to aging, and isolation from the community. We have been providing support from the welfare aspect so far, but we will continue to cooperate with the city and ward office and related organizations and local residents to provide support that is close to the person.
In this initiative, we aim not only to clear up garbage, but also solve various issues in daily life.
