What is Choi Nagiri Street?

When the Shogunate (where politics) was established in Kamakura, a port was needed to carry things, but the sea of Kamakura was shallow, and it was difficult to stop the boat when the waves were high, so "Rokuura Minato" was replacing it.
Rokuura Minato was a port that supports the lives of samurai and peasants living in Kamakura. "Choinagiri-dori" was created to create a road connecting Kamakura and Rokuura Minato.
※As a place name, "Asahina" has been used since ancient times, but the official name of the nationally designated historic site is "Choinagiri Dori".
