SOS Network Business

What is an SOS network?

When a person who may be missing due to dementia, etc. becomes "missing", the ward office, police, and discovery cooperating organizations cooperate to discover and protect as soon as possible. It can be used at the same time as "search request" to Kanazawa police department. In principle, pre-registration is required.

Flow of use of the SOS network

①Family members apply for pre-registration at the ward office or the Regional Comprehensive Support Center where they live.
②If the registered person goes missing, his family and others will contact Kanazawa police department.
③The police will contact the ward office and request the cooperating organization for discovery cooperation. .
④If a cooperating organization finds an elderly person, it will contact Kanazawa police department.

Elderly people with dementia and juvenile dementia (including suspected dementia) living in Kanazawa Ward who may be missing

Where you can register

Kanazawa Ward Office 402 or Local Elderly Care Management Center

Belongings at the time of registration

Photographs of yourself (one face and one whole body)
(* The size of the color photo and L version is desirable.)

Please fill out the application form with required items and bring it to the counter. (The application form is also handed over at the counter.)

What is the seal business for watching elderly people with dementia?

We distribute "watching stickers" that can identify the identity while protecting personal information so that people with missing dementia can return to their homes early. Registration of the SOS network is required.
We distribute two types of sticker type (36 sheets) and iron sheet type (34 sheets) as a set so that it can be used on clothes and belongings.
When applying for the SOS network, please check the box for using the watch sticker at the bottom of the application form and submit it.

②Consent to the provision of registration information with Kanagawa Prefecture and Kanagawa Prefectural Police
③There must be family members who can pick you up
