"Gathering of inhabitants of a ward" was held in 2015.

On June 27, the Kanagawa Residents' Council (Kenichiro Sawa, Representative Director) held a "Gathering of Residents" at the Kanagawa public hall Hall. "Gathering of inhabitants of a ward" is held every year as a place to announce the activities of the inhabitant of a ward council and a place for proposals. This year, the interim announcement of the 18th term (term of 2 years), which has been active since July 2014, will be held, and it is a great opportunity to know the activities of the inhabitant of a ward council and to think about local issues together. The inhabitant of a ward council conducts surveys and examinations mainly on the activities of the subcommittee to create a safe and secure livable Kanagawa Ward town, and reflects the results of the activities in the ward administration. The members consist of committee members selected from the Neighborhood Associations and various organizations, as well as members of the public recruitment committee.
As one of the activities of the inhabitant of a ward council, "local gathering" is held several times a year. "Gathering of the Community" is held at the unit of the Union Neighborhood Associations, and set up a subcommittee on opinions and issues that are considered appropriate to work on it as a theme of the inhabitant of a ward council. We are working toward solutions and make proposals. The third "Nana no Kai", has been engaged in activities to improve local disaster prevention capabilities such as reduce disaster damage since the 16th term. We have been examining from various perspectives on the initiatives of self support and community support conducted by the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations, and the government support. In the second part, a participatory lecture was given by Mr. Tabe Shima, chairman of the Nanatsu no Kai, gave a participatory lecture on the theme of "What is absolutely necessary for reduce disaster damage?" The Kanagawa Residents' Council is currently active with 47 people. In addition to "gathering of inhabitants of a ward" and "local gathering", we are working to have many people know their activities through the publication of "Kobushi" of the journal "Kobushi" of the magazine, homepage, exhibition of inhabitants of a ward festival, etc. We hope that more inhabitants of the ward will understand so that the activities will be further enhanced in the future.
