Last Updated November 28, 2018

Happy New Year

We sincerely thank the inhabitants of the ward for having reached the new year in a healthy manner.
This year is the Year of the Monkey. It is said that the word "Shin" represents the appearance of the tree ripening and hardening. We will work together as a ward office staff so that various approaches that you have always worked hard for the area will bear fruit and ripen.
This year, we want to work on ward administration administration with four viewpoints in mind.
The first is the further efforts of disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage by the self support and community support.
We will continue to promote initiatives by self support and community support so that many residents can practice disaster prevention and reduce disaster damage as their own and take action. Along with self support's efforts to prevent furniture from falling, community support will also promote initiatives such as enhancing the activities of disaster prevention organizations in the town. In addition, we would like to raise awareness for various generations, such as raising the awareness of disaster prevention among junior high school students and high school students.
The second is the extension of healthy life expectancy. I would like to promote various health promotion initiatives according to the life stage. In particular, in addition to the prevention of dementia and nursing care, we will promote initiatives that are conscious of the perspective of "prevention", such as health promotion in cooperation with companies.
The third is to broaden the scope of local activities. In many regions, training leaders in Neighborhood Association and other activities is a challenge. We will promote initiatives to expand the base of local activities, such as by effectively operating the Kanagawa Ward community development College, which started last November.
The fourth is the promotion of collaborative efforts with local residents.
The ward office has been working on the lives of inhabitants of the ward as the most familiar administrative organization. In addition to working to provide accurate, prompt, and polite services, and to work together with local residents to solve local issues such as disaster prevention and anti-crime program, welfare for the elderly, and child care support. I would like to proceed. In particular, we will work on improving community-based welfare in collaboration with local residents in the third Kanagawa Ward Community Welfare and Health Plan, which will begin in 2016. To that end, we will promote the creation of a ward office that snuggle up to the local people, eliminate the vertical division of the government, and promote the creation of a ward office that snuggle up to the local people.
Based on the above viewpoints, all residents of the ward will realize "connection," "safety," and "warmth," which is the basic goals of the administration of Kanagawa Ward's administration of ward administration.Kanagawa Ward.
In conclusion, I wish you all the best and best wishes for your good health and happiness so that this year will be a fruitful year for you.
We look forward to seeing you again this year.

January, 2016
Tomomi Ninomiya, Chief of Kanagawa
