From 1 year old to pre-school
※The one-year-old child here is a child who is one year old as of April 2 of this year.
Types and contents of childcare

１．A reservation for an interview
- If you are using it for the first time, you need to register (interview) in advance.
- For interviews, please call the nursery school you are using and adjust the schedule.Yokohama City Temporary Custody WEB Reservation System (outside site)Even if you make a web reservation, be sure to call the nursery school to adjust the schedule after pressing the interview registration button.
２．Use registration (interview)
- Use registration (interview) must be received with your child. On the day of the event.Temporary childcare use registration application (word: 18KB)Please bring your mother and child handbook and health insurance card to fill in.
３．Application for use
- After the registration is completed, you will be able to apply for use. Application for use will start from the month before the desired date of use. (From 10:30 on the 1st of the previous month to 16:00 on the day before)
４．Determination of acceptance
- The nursery school will decide on acceptance (please note that you will not be able to use it if there is no acceptance slot).
- If you are notified of the decision to use the service, please refer to the following.Temporary Childcare Application Form (Excel: 17KB)Please fill in the form and submit it to the nursery school.
- Please submit atypical childcare on the morning of the first day of use every month.
- Please submit refreshment childcare and emergency childcare on the morning of the day of use.
- You will receive a temporary childcare use approval letter of advice.
５．Payment of usage fees, etc.
- The usage fee and meal fee must be paid by the delivery notice given by the nursery school.
- Please pay at the designated financial institution by the payment deadline stated in the delivery notice.
- Please inform the nursery school of that fact after payment.
Precautions for Use
- You can apply for use from 10:30 on the 1st of the month before the desired date of use to 16:00 the day before.
- Depending on the event of a nursery school, childcare system, infectious diseases, etc., we may not be able to keep it.
- If you want to cancel your use, please contact the nursery school as soon as possible.
If you are cancelled due to poor physical condition on the day, please contact us by 9:00 on the day.
Refunds will not be available as soon as the time is shortened. - Meals and snacks are provided at nursery schools.PaidYou will be asked to do so.
- If you are unable to use meals at the nursery school due to allergies, be sure to report at the time of registration.
- Parking is prohibited around the nursery school. Please do not cause any inconvenience to nearby people.
- When using on the day, please bring your clothes as necessary. For more information, we will guide you in the "Temporary Childcare Bookmark" handed at the time of use.
List of tax exemption systems
If you live in Yokohama City, the following people have a reduction in usage fees. Please present the necessary documents to the nursery school before use. If you do not show it, you will not be able to reduce the amount.
