Information on Izumi Ward General Government Building Public Wireless LAN (Free Wi-Fi)

Public wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) is available.

The Izumi Ward General Government Building is a public wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) as part of improving convenience for visitors to the ward office. ※You can use it.
If you have Wi-Fi compatible devices (smartphones, tablet terminals, laptop computers, etc.) when using the ward office 1st floor inhabitant hall and the second floor waiting space, you can use the Internet service free of charge.
Please refer to the information posted on the 1st and 2nd floors for usage (SSID and password).
※Wi-Fi is a registered trademark of the Wi-Fi Alliance.

Use is permitted by individuals who have agreed to the following terms and conditions.

・In order to use it safely, please refer to the “Simple Manual for Wi-Fi Users (May 2020 Edition)” issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications in advance at https://www.soumu.go.jp/main_content/000690266.pdf (external site).
・When using this service, in the wireless section from the terminal to the access point, communication contents may be intercepted by malicious persons, so Internet banking etc. that requires input of credit card number and personal information Please do not use it.

Terms of Service
(General Rules)
Article 1 Izumi Ward (hereinafter referred to as "provider") provides public wireless LAN service (this service) provided in the Izumi Ward General Government Building.
    For customers who use this service (hereinafter referred to as "users"), the following terms and conditions are established.
(Usage Fees)
Article 2 The usage fee of this service is free of charge.
(Conditions of Use)
Article 3 The use of this service shall be granted to individuals who have agreed to these Terms.
  2 Users must comply with the "Law Concerning the Prohibition of Unauthorized Access" and other relevant laws and regulations when using this service.
  3 Users shall prepare the following items when using this service.
  (1) Communication equipment equipped with a Wi-Fi function and a web browser that can be connected to this service
  (2) Power supply to communication equipment prepared by the user and its attached equipment
  4 The user shall set up and operate communication equipment, etc. to use this service.
  5 Necessary measures such as security measures for communication devices connected to this service and restrictions on access to harmful sites shall be taken by the user.
  6 Users shall use it with care not to disturb others.

(Records of usage status, etc.)
Article 4 The connection status and usage status to this service shall be recorded to confirm usage status and unauthorized access.

(Prohibitions)
Article 5 In the event of damage to other facility users and third parties due to the following actions, the user shall, even after the loss of qualification.
    All legal liability shall be held, and the provider shall not be liable for any purpose.
  (1) Any actions that infringe or may infringe on the copyright of other facility users, third parties, or other rights.
  (2) Any actions that infringe on other facility users, third parties' property, or privacy, or acts that may infringe.
  (3) In addition to the above 1 and 2, actions that may cause disadvantageous or damage to other facility users, and actions that may cause them.
  (4) To slander other facility users or third parties.
  (5) Conduct that is contrary to public order and morals, or to provide information that is contrary to public order and morals to other facility users or third parties.
  (6) Criminal or something that is associated with a criminal activity, or a risk of doing so.
  (7) Election campaigns or similar activities.
  (8) Acts similar to religious missionary activities
  (9) To use or provide harmful programs, such as computer viruses, through or in connection with this service.
  (10) Mail order, chain sales transactions, business offer invitation sales transactions, and business offer invitation sales transactions, and other transactions that send a large amount of e-mail to a specific or unspecified number of people for other purposes.
  (11) In addition to the items listed in the preceding items, actions that violate or may violate laws and regulations.

(Principles of self-responsibility)
Article 6 The user shall assume all legal liability, such as damages, in the event that the provider or third party is liable for damages, such as compensation for damages.
  2 Users shall treat this at his / her own risk and shall not make any claim to the provider in the event of any damage or assume any legal responsibility.

(Disclaimer)
Article 7 The provider shall not make any guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, certainty, usefulness, etc. of the contents of this service and the information obtained by the user through wireless LAN.
  2 Providers may restrict access to inappropriate websites in order to prevent criminal use and ensure the safety of users.
  3 Provider shall not be liable for the provision, delay, modification, suspension or abolition of this service, loss of user information registered, provided or collected through the Service, damage caused by computer virus infection of the user's computer virus, data corruption, leakage, etc. The provider shall not be liable for any damages incurred in connection with the Service.
  4 Regarding paid services used by the user on the Internet, regardless of the reason, the user shall bear the cost.
  5 The user's device settings related to connection to the wireless LAN shall be performed by the user. The provider shall not be liable for any cases where this service cannot be used due to malfunction of laptop computer model, OS, software, etc.
  6 The Provider shall not be liable for any dispute arising between other users or third parties due to the use of this service by the User.
  7 The provider may restrict connections in order to ensure proper use of this service.

(Cancellation of Operation)
Article 8 The operation of this service system may be discontinued for the following reasons.
    Therefore, the Provider shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the Service User or any third party, for any reason.
  (1) When maintenance or construction of the system of this service is performed on a regular or urgent basis.
  (2) If the Service becomes unavailable as usual due to war, riots, disturbances, labor disputes, earthquakes, eruptions, floods, tsunami, fire, power outages or other emergency situations.
  (3) When there are unavoidable reasons such as equipment or network failures related to this service system.
  (4) In addition, when the provider determines that temporary interruption is necessary for the operation of this service.

(Changes to the terms and conditions)
Article 9 The provider may change these Terms without the consent of the user.

Supplementary Provisions These Terms and Conditions shall come into effect on April 1, 2023.
